What is Scorching Strings?
Scorching Strings is a fan-made Guitar Hero clone, created by CoolGamrSms. The project was started in late March, 2008, during spring break. Never intended to be released, it had many bugs. As time went on, however, CoolGamrSms decided to release it to the public. Ever since, it's been in development.
Recently, the game engine was scrapped and restarted, due to many problems related to how the general idea worked. The game has yet to be released.

Feel free to just look around, our small community is growing and hopefully it will soon become a fun, active place to be. Our goal is that when the game is released, there will be a thriving community, and finding players to battle in intense song duels will be easy. You can help us achieve this by registering. Thank you!

For now. I opened up the source file recently, and to my dismay, it no longer works. It appears to be related to the fact that I now use Game Maker 8....
